Grounded in compassionate care, Heartful Roots is a woman-owned mental health private practice serving individuals, groups and organizations in Vermont and beyond.

Jessica founded Heartful Roots in 2021 after working for more than a decade with children, teens, families, and adults as a bilingual (English-Spanish) mental health therapist and educator. Jessica has practiced in a wide variety of settings, including public, private, and charter schools, hospitals, outpatient mental health clinics, community centers, a children’s advocacy center, and a group private practice. In addition to her clinical work, Jessica provides specialized mental health consultations and trainings for educators, healthcare professionals, and community workers who are committed to providing equitable, trauma-informed, and compassionate care to all populations of people.
